Ulitimate 40
Ever popular, the Friday night of the Reet Good Festival is a fantastic evening of quality entertainment, this year with a headline set from the fantastic band, Ultimate 40, a UB40 tribute act.
Ultimate 40 are a full nine-piece live band has played along- side some of reggae’s biggest and well -known names in the industry. Each member of the band have studied the techniques, sound and style of UB40 to capture an overall authentic performance.
Raise your pints(steins!) on Saturday with live music from our Umpah Band, The Blue Barrons – back by popular demand, the Bavarian trio will be bringing a taste of Oktoberfest to a Summer afternoon here in Wigan.

Family Afternoon with Wigan Youth Zone
Come along to our huge family fun day at the festival, an afternoon of entertainment for all ages including children’s activities from the Wigan Youth Zone team including Bouncy Castles, Magician, Games and Face Painting etc along with a special performance from local brass band – Pemberton Old DW Band and some live performances from Wigan Youth Zone’s own musicians!
A sell-out every single year, the Saturday evening of the Reet Good Fest promises to be an exciting and bustling night of live entertainment.
Lionel Ritchie Tribute - Hamilton Browne
Kicking off with a set from Lionel Ritchie Tribute act, Hamilton Brown, with an uncanny resemblance to the man himself, Brown has toured the world with his glittering musical career and his tribute act is a regular in the famous Blackpool ‘Trevor Chance’s Legends’ Show! If you love Lionel – you’ll love our Saturday act!

Pemberton Old DW Band
Pemberton Old Band has a long and outstanding history that dates back to the late 19th century. In recent years our organisation has gone from strength to strength and as well as having a First Section band conducted by Ben Dixon, we have a 'B' Band currently well placed in the 2nd section. We also boast a Junior Band that some 30 youngsters trained by John Don-Duncan.

Also performing on the Saturday evening is Reet Good Fest favourites, The Sapphires, a live trio guaranteed to fill the dancefloor with all your favourite Motown hits including Diana Ross & The Supremes, Martha & The Vandellas, Tina Turner, Mary Wells and Aretha Franklin.
Dawn Vickers & The Blues Engine
The Blues Engine Band are a 4-piece rhythm and blues band, led by the fabulous vocalist Dawn Vickers, the Stevie Nicks of the North and comprising of lead guitarist Paul Roberts, compared to Joe Bonamassa with his incendiary guitar riffs, Richy Lloyd, drummer extraordinaire with a passion and energy akin to the likes of Keith Moon and last but not least funk-blues bass player Steve Cunliffe, whose epic style seals the deal to bring hard hitting, sexy funk blues and rock n roll to audiences across the UK.
